THE KICKFLIP SKATEBOARD & CO
The KickFlip Skateboard & Company Mission
Our enduring mission is to transfigure the avant-garde concept of Galactic an Interstellar Skateboard into a participative and dynamic art canvas for skateparks and art events in California. Firmly dedicated to cultivating safe, healthy, and respectful relationships, we aspire to unite diverse communities around this transformation of the Interstellar Skateboard. We are committed to fostering safe, healthy, and respectful friendships in the communities we bring together to transform the Interstellar Skateboard.
Our Vision
The Skateboard Innovators warmly invite you to join us in our vision of transforming the art concept, Galactica, an Interstellar Skateboard into a large-scale wooden art structure, aptly named ‘Kickflip’ for community skateparks and art events in California. The skateboard is a testament to precision and extensive detail. For example, the skateboard is 30 feet in length, 8 feet in width, and rising 8 feet in elevation from the ground, the structure promises to incorporate every imaginable aspect of Skateboard technology.
Interaction and Participatory Art Structure
From atop of Kickflip event goers will have the golden opportunity to connect with the mythical creatures (Grip Tape), that Galactica garnered from numerous galaxies throughout space. Below the structure, in an area we call Kickflip event goers are welcome to walk or climb to appreciate the hand-painted art canvases, that are the fruits of collaborations from diverse communities throughout California.
Our Mission
The Skateboard Innovators mission is to bring together people from all walks of life to have meaningful conversations, inspire creativity, and build a community that values diversity, inclusivity, and social change. Through thought-provoking discussions, personal stories, and creative expressions, we aim to empower listeners to use their voices, talents, and passion to make a positive change. We’ll amplify marginalized voices and foster a Cultural of empathy and understanding. If we fail, we will try it again and will inspire others to do the same.

Community Support & Donors
Realizing the vision of the Kickflip, demands an immense effort from the Skateboard Innovators, a task we unfortunately cannot tackle single-handedly. Driven by our tenacity and perseverance, we respectfully solicit the help of from our communities, families, and friends through donations. Your generous contributions will equip us to breathe life into the Kickflip art concept and will pave the way for showcasing talents from communities that are frequently overlooked.
Funding
The funds raised will play a crucial role in numerous aspects of the project. For example, renting a space in San Francisco for construction, managing advertising costs, and handling fees associated with the development of construction and building plans.
The donations will also facilitate the procurement of essential materials necessary for building the structure, like screws, bolts, beams, wood, and electronic equipment. Additionally, the funding will significantly assist us in transporting this unique art piece to a variety of art events throughout California and assist with the purchase of art supplies for children’s use.
Fundraising for such a substantial project is undoubtedly challenging. Therefore, we, the Skateboard Innovators, humbly ask for your assistance in realizing this project. Your generous contributions will help us bring Kickflip, to life and introduce it to communities near you.
OUR PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS
BEYOND
BORDERS
Comprising a passionate group of volunteers, our team is on a mission to construct a skatepark for underprivileged youth. Our aim is to provide a safe and engaging environment that keeps them off the streets and away from detrimental influences such as drugs.
WE NEED $500 (R7000) TO FINISH OUR SKATEPARK
Youth in South Africa often find themselves ensnared in the harsh clutches of drugs and alcohol, largely due to a lack of supportive guidance and a void of productive activities. Our initiative, the Playground Skatepark, aims to fill that void and present new opportunities. Beyond merely offering a space for skateboarding, we intend to foster a sense of community, self-development, and positive engagement.
